The Aggie Black Excellence Project will host the Black Faculty Community Breakfast on Tuesday, September 17th, from 8:30-10:00 AM at the Alumni Center, Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Hall.

Since publishing Aggie Black Excellence: Addressing Anti-Blackness, Listening Sessions White Paper on eScholarship, the Aggie Black Excellence Project team has been working with campus partners on the opportunities for action. A key next step from our s to bring our Black faculty together again to review the findings from the listening sessions, explore opportunities for action, and provide updates related to the African Diaspora at UC Davis, including ways to engage our faculty. This includes opportunities for research collaboration and the Black Student Success Initiative, which is led by Associate Vice Provost of Academic Programs, Professor Milmon Harrison.
