Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups sponsored by the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, dedicated to cultivating a sense of belonging and community at UC Davis. ERGs provide valuable professional development and networking opportunities, empowering members to grow and advance within the university community. The Interfaith and Intercultural (IFIC) Employee Resource Group aims to develop and promote interfaith and intercultural awareness, highlighting our differences, our shared values, commonalities, and celebrating our individuality. They promote inclusivity, bringing light to our various cultures and traditions through education, special events, and discussion groups. The group provides opportunities to build relationships in a culture of safety and acceptance where all persons have the space to share and express their perspectives, their narratives, and be seen and heard without bias and with unconditional positive regard.

The group romotes an inclusive, judgment free network for all individuals. They also support and engage with local internal and external LGBTQ+ affiliates through participation in community events, scholarship, and stewardship.
