Join CAMPOS scholar Maciel Hernández for her talk on a person-centered examination of culturally relevant school practices and academic functioning in adolescence. Her research looked at schools as sites where youth might have a range of opportunities to be holistically supported through culturally relevant practices. Using a person-centered approach, her team examined the presence of profiles on culturally relevant practices in schools among adolescents from the U.S. Southwest. Four culturally relevant support profiles were identified, which Hernández will discuss. Learn more and access the Zoom link.
